Wow, 2 jan 2008. was Jordon first day in Greenwood Primary School. Like many anxious parents, we were waiting eagerly to see how he performs ( ablility to take good care of himself) in the canteen. He has a primary 3 buddy who will guide and help him from queuing to buying food.
Yesterday, I was arguing with my wife about education. I agree that primary 1 is important that it is the foundation for upcoming years. The ways she behaved really made me mad...It is just the first day of formal education...yet she demands him to follow strictly to the timetable set...no tv, no playing totally...this made the kid felt that education has stolen everything from him. Her fears paint all the horrible picture -> this is totally going wrong way as ' The Secret'. Focussing negative energy on the kids
Just wondering how to made her relax alittle bit. Afterall, our kids have a long education journey ahead. Typical kiasu Singaporean
